Though we are months from the 2020 elections, Floridians are ready to vote in crucial local elections happening next month. The members of SEIU Florida announced their endorsements for local races in Tampa, Boynton Beach, Miramar, Riviera Beach, West Palm Beach, and Coral Springs this morning.
The endorsed candidates have proven themselves and commit to being champions of working people and their families. This includes supporting establishment or increase of living wages, defending and supporting collective bargaining and union rights, focusing on building community wealth for poor and working people, housing affordability, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and fighting attempts to preempt local governments.

Elections on March 5
- Alan Clendenin, City Council District 1
- Guido Maniscalco, City Council District 6
